Oil change $68.99
I asked about a discount he laughed & says yeah I can give you $10. Off.......
I said my husband just was in here yesterday with his Truck & his oil change was $31. WITH TAX......
Tech laughed at me looks at the other tech they both laughed & said it is what it is!! We can’t do them for free.........
You paying cash or credit card...................

The difference in price was , as we discussed, due to the type of oil required in your vehicle being full synthetic.

I've used Heartland (Previously Galaxy Auto) on a few occasions over the years. Mostly due to their proximity to my home. The quality of their work is acceptable. But, their costs are generally high and appear to be getting higher. I had diagnosed the problem on my wife's 2002 Ford Explorer. She needed a new Alternator. I had called for an estimate and again gave in to the fact that they were close to my home. So, I brought it in for repair even when they were not the lowest quote. I got charged $276.92 for a rebuilt alternator. On Rockauto, a new Alternator is under $100. In addition, they charge a $50 appraisal charge. My bill ended at $519 after taxes. Unacceptable.
I am very disappointed with the service here and will not go back. If I could I would rate less than 1 star!! I also would like to speak to corporate about how they damaged my center cap and rim and wouldn't do anything to make it right. Instead Randy told me he didn't want my service anymore because I am too picky with my vehicle. Really?? Who isn't picky with service done to their vehicle?!
I brought my car in to get new brake pads, and when I got the car back one of the center caps from my wheels was missing. When I called in to ask them about it, an employee laughed at me when I told him I wanted them to replace this piece of my car. He then told me he doesn't believe that it was even lost at their shop, and there's no way they'd replace it. And then he hung up the phone on me while I was talking. I will no longer be takin my business here and I will make it my duty to prevent anyone I know from bringing their cars here from now on
